Dr Vijayanand Jamalpuri is a graduate of the Osmania Medical College and completed his MD in Pediatrics from Niloufer Hospital, Hyderabad. He had a nine-year stint in the United Kingdom wherein he undertook further studies in pediatrics and secured the CCT in Pediatrics. Dr. Vijayanand also holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Teaching and Learning for Health Profession from Bristol University, UK. And received comprehensive instructor training in simulation teaching at Institute of Medical Simulation, Boston, USA. A two-year stint in New Zealand besides a fellowship at National Women’s Centre, Auckland are part of his impressive resume.

Dr. Vijayand has presented several papers at regional, national and international conferences and received several awards. His areas of interest include - neonatal cardiology, quality improvement, medical education and simulation teaching. He has been teaching undergraduate and postgraduate medical students, nursing and paramedical students for over a decade and is an instructor for acute paediatric and neonatal life support courses.
