A curious and talented doctor, Dr Rinku earned her medical degree from Government Medical College, Aurangabad. After attaining her post graduation in Obstetrics and Gynecology from B.J. Medical College, Pune, she completed her Fellowship in Gynecological Endoscopy where she undertook the training under late mentor Dr.Rakesh Sinha, Mumbai.

After pursuing a certified research Fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility in CRAFT Hospital, Kerala, she has worked as an infertility consultant in Valluvanad Hospital and Santhi Hospital, Calicut, Kerala.
