 Training 

Dr.Vijaya Prasanna graduated from Siddhartha Medical College, Vijayawada in 2006. She trained in general medicine (MD General Medicine) from Siddhartha Medical College, Vijayawada in 2011. She received her Doctorate of Medicine (DM) in Rheumatology training from Nizams Institute of Medical Sciences, Hyderabad in 2015

 Experience 

She has worked as a senior consultant Rheumatologist at KIMS, Secunderabad between 2015 - 2017

 Field of Expertise 

Her areas of interest are Rheumatoid and Spondyloarthritis, SLE and Childhood Arthritis.

 Awards and Recognitions 

She has received an award for best presentation for a paper titled Multiple cerebral aneurysms and SAH in lupus at APAPCON – 2013. She has also received an award for best oral presentation on Complicated TAK at TSAPICON 2017.

 Academics and Research 

She has authored several articles in journals, some of which include: Primary Sjogen syndrome with cryoglobulinemia and alveolar haemorrhage Multiple cerebral aneurysms in Lupus Incidence of cardiac conduction disorders in patients with rheumatic disease receiving hydroxy chloroquin.
