Dr Nageswara Rao Koneti is a senior consultant in the Department of Pediatric Cardiology at Rainbow Children's Heart Institute, banjara hills, Hyderabad. He also worked as a cardiac surgeon in Janapareddy Hospital, Suraksha Children's Hospital and Safe Children Hospital, Hyderabad. Dr Nageswara Rao koneti finished his medical schooling from Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences (SVIMS) and MD in Pediatrics from Kurnool Medical College, Kurnool and went on to pursue his DM in Cardiology from Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences & Technology, Trivandrum. He has done his Fellowship in Pediatric cardiology from Children’s Hospital at Westmead, Sydney. He is one of the most experienced Cardiologists in India with more than 30 years of experience. He is a member of the Cardiological Society of India, Indian Academy Of Echocardiography and also a member of the Pediatric Cardiology Society of India. He got various awards in the field of cardiology. In 1993 at the IAP conference, he got YR reddy gold medal award for the best paper presentation. In 2004 at IAP, Kolkata got the “S T Achar Endowment Award” for the best paper. At the American college of cardiology, he got the highest Innovation ranking award.
