Dr.Madhusudhan Rao graduated from Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore in 1986 He received his orthopedic training from JJM Medical College, Davangere in 1996. He received his Master of Chirurgery (MCh) in Orthopedics from University of Seychelles in 2001.

He has over 15 year of experience as senior consultant orthopaedic surgeon in Mediciti Hospital and KIMS Hospital, Hyderabad Field of ExpertiseHe has received specialist training in joint replacements and advanced trauma care Areas of InterestHis areas of interest include Complex Trauma, Joint Replacement and Pediatric Orthopedics.
