He further refined his clinical & surgical skills by undergoing short term fellowships in reputed hospitals like Sankara Nethralaya , Chennai & Aravind Eye Hospital , Coimbatore. His areas of interest include advanced cataract & refractive surgery , infective keratitis & diabetic retinopathy. Dr Srinivas has a keen interest in academics & teaching .He has a publication in the prestigious British Journal of Ophthalmology(BJO).
