Training

Dr. Anjan graduated from JIPMER, Pondicherry in 2006. He trained in general medicine (MD General Medicine) from JIPMER, Pondicherry in 2011, and received his Doctorate of Medicine (DM) in Neurology training from Nizams Institute of Medical Sciences, Hyderabad in 2016

Experience

He worked as a registrar at Apollo Hospital, Hyderabad in 2011 and as a consultant physician at Mamatha in 2012-2013.

Areas of Interest

His areas of interest are Neuroimmunology, Neuromuscular (Peripheral nerve and muscle disorders) conditions.

Awards

He was awarded a Gold Medal during his post - graduation (MD General Medicine) at JIPMER, Pondicherry.

Research and Publications

He has authored several articles in journals, some of which include: “Fatal granulomatous amoebic encephalitis caused by Acanthamoeba in a newly diagnosed patient with SLE” and " MPV - 17 hepatocerebral mitochrondrial DNA depletion syndrome presenting as acute flacid paralysis - A case report”. He has co – Authored the "Acquired Neuropathies" Chapter in IAN (Indian Academy of Neurology) handbook 2017 He has presented case report of:” Sjogrens syndrome presenting as CISP (Chronic immune workshop of neuromuscular diseases” in GB pant Hospital and research institute Feb – 2017. He has presented "A study of clinical features elctrophysiological features and VSMAR ratio in ganglioneuropathies" at the PNS conference 2017 Barcelona, Spain.
