He was awarded scholarship from the British Society of Gynaecological Endoscopy (BSGE) towards training in Minimal Access Surgery from the University of Surrey, UK., and received training in Laparoscopic surgery in Kiel University, Germany. He also underwent handson training in Robotic Surgery at North Texas Hospital in Dallas, USA.
