  • Dr. Kiran Peddi completed his MBBS from Kakatiya Medical College, 1996.
  • He obtained his MRCP (UK) from Royal College of Physicians, UK, 2000.
  • He completed his CCT – Gastroenterology & General Medicine from PMETB (UK), 2008.
  • He completed one year of Fellowship in Advanced Endoscopy & IBD (Crohn’s and Ulcerative colitis) from Fremantle, Australia – 2009.
  • He has been awarded FRCP (London) from Royal College of Physicians, UK in 2015 for his clinical and academic achievements

 Experience 

Dr Kiran Peddi has unique experience of working as Consultant Gastroenterologist in 3 continents (UK, Australia and India). He has extensive experience of working in many reputed centres in UK. He was one of the first to start Endoscopic ultrasound service in then United state of Andhra Pradesh and is one of the few in the country with special expertise in treating Inflammatory Bowel Diseases (Crohn’s and Ulcerative colitis). He performed more than 30,000 endoscopic procedures (till mid 2017) of various complexities with high success rates.

He acted as a faculty for many teaching activities and as a co-investigator for more than 20 clinical trials in IBD. He worked as Chief of Luminal Gastroenterology and Endoscopy services at Global Hospitals Hyderabad for 6 years.

 Achievements

  • He has been awarded as the “Rising Star in Gastroenterology for Telugu states” by Times of India for the year 2017
  • He has the credit of training many medical students and junior Gastroenterologists
  • He is one of the co-founders of Osler’s Academy that focuses on training international doctors on a regular basis
  • He acted as faculty for many national and international conferences
